Jasmine Lamb thrives when leading organizations that foster community, learning, and personal growth. As Director of Mansfield Hall- Burlington, she has worked to create the structures, systems, and policies to align day-to-day operations of Mansfield Hall with our mission and vision. She works closely with staff to support their learning and commitment to a strength-based approach with our resident college students. Before joining us, Jasmine worked for nearly a decade as Director of Student Life for the Vermont Governor’s Institute on the Arts summer college preparatory program. She also ran a transition program for teenagers, worked as both a consultant and college instructor at a small career-focused college, and counseled young adults in a residential treatment program.
Over the past ten years, Jasmine has worked as a mediator, facilitator, interpersonal communication coach, and body-mindfulness therapist. Jasmine received her bachelor’s degree in English and social sciences from Norwich University. She also holds a 500 hour certificate in mediation and conflict management from Woodbury College (now at Champlain College). She has recently completed a three-year training program in Somatic Experiencing, a psycho-biological approach to healing stress and trauma, and she is a certified yoga instructor. Jasmine loves to ponder the big unanswerable questions such as: What does it mean to be human? How does listening transform us? How do we foster community and connection in our lives? She also enjoys cooking, gardening, dancing, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
