Kyle received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Johnson State College and promptly began what has become a career dedicated to enhancing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling and productive lives. Kyle has worked in a variety of settings including direct behavior support for students with autism spectrum disorders, coordinator of a customized employment program for adults with developmental disabilities, and as a public school special education teacher for high school students with intellectual disabilities.
In all of these roles, Kyle has remained committed to using a strengths-based, person-centered approach to foster and promote inclusive opportunities in which all individuals can achieve success. After beginning graduate coursework at Hunter College in New York City, Kyle returned to Johnson State to receive his Master’s Degree in Special Education. In his free time, Kyle enjoys hiking, running, road-cycling, and playing the drums.
