Sarah Adsit-McCuin, B.A.

A native Vermonter and a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities, Sara has worked in a variety of settings supporting students’ pathways to independence. She earned a degree from Burlington College in Psychology and Human Services and currently serves as a member of their Board of Trustees.  Sara brings a wealth of skills to empower individuals to achieve their highest quality of life, promote independence, and support students in realizing their potential. Sara’s most recent experience working with our demographic surrounded employment services.

Sara offered her caseload a chance at competitive employment in careers they found both stimulating and challenging.  Finding meaningful experiences remains a goal for Sara both personally and as a core tenet and expectation of the people she works with.  Sara believes that meaningful and satisfying experiences offer an individual a chance to grow and develop in invaluable ways.
