Drew graduated from the University of Vermont in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. During her time as a student, she worked in the Writing Center conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions and serving as the designated writing mentor for three introductory courses in Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies, which was her minor discipline. Outside of tutoring, she engaged in both collaborative and stuff independent research projects and worked as an Orientation Leader for first-year students. While attending UVM, Drew got to know Burlington and its residents largely through her job at the downtown movie theater but also by way of long (and very slow) jogs around town. In her free time, Drew likes drinking coffee with friends, reading bleak memoirs and even bleaker poetry, and trying to run gradually greater distances (she has finally accepted that there is not much hope of running faster).
