Elissa is a recent graduate of University of Wisconsin – Madison. She graduated May 2018 with a degree in Special Education, and a certificate in Educational Policy Studies. During her time as a Madisonian, she has volunteered with Snacks with Scientists at the Discovery Building, and has been an avid member of Slow Food, an international organization focused on equitable food access. She is also a full time special educator at a local high school, with a focus on co-teaching within the geometry curriculum. Elissa loves coffee, dogs, hiking, biking, and board games. She hopes that students at Mansfield will feel welcomed and successful during their time in college!
