Joe graduated from Ohio University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. In 2014, he relocated to Vermont to follow his love for the outdoors and his passion for guiding others by becoming a wilderness therapy guide. Throughout his time as a guide, Joe gained rich experience in supporting, coaching, and empowering adolescents and young adults with a wide variety of challenges. Joe believes in helping students find their strengths, build their skill set, and become more confident and internally motivated. He tremendously appreciates being a part of the growth process and fostering the environment essential for independence. In his free time, Joe enjoys performing live music, hiking, backpacking, bow drilling, yoga, spending time with friends, and being active in a variety of sports.
