Yasmeena Ougayour, OTS

Yasmeena received a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Currently, Yasmeena is in her second year of the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Program at UW. Yasmeena aspires to become an OT who serves underrepresented communities in need of support in all occupations of their lives. Prior to her work at Mansfield Hall, Yasmeena has served her community during her involvement within the UW Adapted Fitness Program, the School-Aged Parenting Program of Dane County, and as a Research Assistant at the Waisman Center for Children and Families with Autism. Yasmeena has found a passion for mentoring students from diverse backgrounds within UW’s Multicultural Enrichment programs as well as in University Housing as a House Fellow. Yasmeena is committed to providing a unique OT lens to her work as a Student Life Coach at Mansfield Hall in order to support students journey towards improving social participation, activities of daily living, self-care, organizational skills, educational experiences, and stress/mental health. In her leisure, Yasmeena enjoys cooking, creating art, spending time with family and trying out local coffee shops.
