Erica found her way to Mansfield Hall after a lengthy career in clinical, human, and social services. Erica earned a Bachelor of Education degree in Family & Human Services from the University of Oregon in 2008. Her heart for service and dedication to person-centered relational work led her to teach preschool, support student teachers and interns, and case management before she pursued graduate studies at Pacific University. Erica holds an Oregon license to practice clinical social work. She graduated with her Master of Social Work in 2016 and has been working as a therapist, clinical and program supervisor, and adjunct professor since that time. Erica is eager to use her personal and professional skills to support students, families, and staff at Mansfield Hall.
Erica’s passion for activism and her commitment to compassion has led her to develop personal interests in human rights and social justice as well as community organizing. Erica spends her free time with her husband, two children, and five cats tending their vegetable and flower gardens and enjoying all aspects of the beautiful nature found in the Pacific Northwest.
