Kyle is the Site Director of Mansfield Hall-Eugene and has earned his Ph.D. in special education at the University of Oregon. Kyle’s scholarship emphasizes postsecondary accessibility for diverse learners and his work has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. He holds a B.A. in music education and an M.A. in special education, both from Northern Vermont University, and previously served as the Assistant Director of Mansfield Hall-Burlington. Kyle is thrilled to once again be working with an organization and mission that he cares so deeply about.

Prior to returning for his doctoral work, Kyle worked in a variety of settings including direct behavior support for students with ASD, coordinator of a customized employment program for adults with developmental disabilities, public-school special education teacher, and as a practicum supervisor for special education teaching candidates. Kyle currently sits on the Board of Directors of CEC’s Division on Career Development and Transition as well as FACT Oregon, a non-profit that empowers Oregon families experiencing disability. He also currently serves on the advisory committee for the Oregon Adult Transition Summit sponsored by Think College.

In all of these roles, Kyle has remained committed to a strengths-based, person-centered approach to foster and promote inclusive opportunities for all individuals to embark on fulfilling and productive lives. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the mighty Oregon Cascades, cycling in one of the most bike-friendly cities in the country, crushing podcasts, and spending time with his wife and two rescue pups.
