Nicole joins Mansfield Hall after a 21- year career in education during which time she served in a variety of roles including Resident Dean, Tutor, Advisor, Volleyball Coach, and Dean of Students. Nicole had the privilege to serve schools in Vermont, New Hampshire, Michigan, California and Virginia prior to entering the world of entrepreneurship two years ago by founding Root to Rise Coaching. She earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Minnesota and her Master’s in International & Intercultural Management from the School for International Training. Nicole’s time in schools confirmed for her the importance of meeting people where they are and believing in them until they believe in themselves. Mentoring, supporting, and guiding students and colleagues along their path of figuring out who they are, learning from both their successes and struggles, then charting a path towards becoming their best selves is the work that inspires her every day.
Outside of her role as Academic Director and as a burnout prevention coach, speaker, and trainer at Root to Rise Coaching, Nicole enjoys time in the kitchen, on her yoga mat, traveling, hiking, and biking (pretty much anything that gets her outside).
