Will earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon. Will’s educational tracts were heavily focused on equity, inclusion, communication, media, and the arts. His early teaching career includes teaching high school students as the Social Studies Dept. Chair in a boarding school for at-risk students. In 2010, Will moved to St. Petersburg, Russia to teach English. While in Russia, Will was recruited to run the voiceover department for a video game audio studio and was the primary contact for all native English speakers corresponding with the company. Returning to Eugene in 2013, Will continued his voiceover work by starting his own audio production company, now having over 70 published video games in his portfolio.

Prior to joining Mansfield Hall, Will worked on establishing the Vocational Academy at the Pearl Buck Center in Eugene as the core teacher, teaching adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With the closure of sheltered workshops starting in 2018, a major goal was to help students navigate the process of entering the greater world of work after many had been in the workshop system for years or even decades. The curriculum Will developed was geared at improving life skills, communication skills, emotional regulation, hygiene, and other essential skills.

Will continues to live in Eugene and enjoys working on music production and video games in his spare time.
