Alison Friedrich, M.A.
Alison is committed to always trying to understand those around her and approach them with compassion and empathy. This drive led her to study psychology as it seeks to appreciate how people think, behave, and feel. As such, Alison earned her B.A in psychology and German studies from Wheaton College in Massachusetts and then her M.A in psychology at William James College. She is excited to support students in their academic and personal goals, as well as see them progress throughout their collegiate career.
During her down-time, Alison enjoys reading, writing, any kind of craft (she’s not picky which), and dancing.
With increased chatter about Neurodivergence on the internet and in the media it`s normal to wonder if some of the parts of you are an indicator of something larger at play.
Neurodivergent, quirky, high-strung, one or none of the above- humans are unique and diverse, no two brains are alike. We recognize and celebrate that.

This week at Mansfield Hall, Madison student Cory created a hand-drawn coloring book for a fundraising initiative; each creature is based off of the delicious recipes inside, (available for adoption) Madison Cat Project cat Leila tried to find a new purr-spective on shelter life, and our Dominion League dominated in Burlington.
