Alli Penan, M.S, CCC-SLP
Alli enjoys helping students reach their learning and communication potential. Prior to joining Mansfield
Hall, her career involved advocating for students with learning disabilities and providing social cognition
intervention and assessment. As a speech language pathologist, Alli created individualized therapy plans
targeting executive functioning, pragmatic language, self-regulation, perspective-taking, and social
communication skills. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of
Massachusetts Amherst and earned her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at
the University of Vermont. Alli loves spending her leisure time learning new recipes, traveling, playing
the piano, and snuggling her cat.
With increased chatter about Neurodivergence on the internet and in the media it`s normal to wonder if some of the parts of you are an indicator of something larger at play.
Neurodivergent, quirky, high-strung, one or none of the above- humans are unique and diverse, no two brains are alike. We recognize and celebrate that.

This week at Mansfield Hall, Madison student Cory created a hand-drawn coloring book for a fundraising initiative; each creature is based off of the delicious recipes inside, (available for adoption) Madison Cat Project cat Leila tried to find a new purr-spective on shelter life, and our Dominion League dominated in Burlington.
