Alyssa Reynolds, B.M.
Reynolds attended the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, where they studied percussion performance. They went on to become an apprentice, building and tuning steel pans, and worked as a professional artist and musician. Later in life, they discovered a passion for serving others and became a certified life coach. Their mission is to help build inclusive and welcoming environments while supporting others as they become their authentic selves.
Reynolds appreciates sharing their hobbies and interests with the Mansfield Hall community. They enjoy creating art, gardening, practicing yoga, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time with their animals.
Bridge to College Orientation is in session in Madison and Burlington!
During this time, all first year students move in and begin their ramp up to the start of classes. This allows students to begin getting their feet under them in a manageable way, including:
- Getting to know fellow students
- Taking a Mansfield Hall created "college orientation class"
- Exploring their new cities with a scavenger hunt
- Taking a cooking seminar to explore different kitchen skills
- So. Much. More.

This week the Burlington campus wrapped up Core term, and will be getting ready for the arrival of our new students in July. Madison students enjoyed an outdoor concert and worked on a mural, and Eugene worked on RPG maps, got outside, and got in some climbing.
Summer is here and we couldn`t be happier taking it all in!

Madison students have been engaging in a career spotlight series these last few weeks. This week, students and staff visited Raven Software in Middleton to get a behind-the-scenes look at the broad scope of professions required to create and maintain video games.
The group was led through an interactive tour highlighting the expanding motion capture studio, audio production team at work, and even received some Raven Swag. We wrapped up with presentations and a Q&A with team members representing the engineering, animation, and production departments.
Highlights Include:
- Students asked insightful questions throughout the presentation
- Several students did some wild in-the-moment animation!
- Seeing a free fall in action in the Mocap studio
