April Berteau, M.Ed.
April, a proud Vermonter, earned her M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. A passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities, she has dedicated her career to supporting neurodiverse learners by creating supportive environments and helping students develop social-emotional skills for success. April is excited to join Mansfield Hall as Director of Student Life, where she will continue her work empowering students through individualized support and fostering meaningful connections. With experience in diverse educational settings, she is committed to supporting students’ personal and professional growth. Outside of work, April enjoys kayaking, swimming, traveling—occasionally getting lost—and spending time with family and friends.

Knowing how ADHD can show up differently helps us support students more effectively.

Congrats to our two new Mansfield Hall Burlington student ambassadors!
Each year first year students apply and interview to become ambassadors. These students are leaders within the community, responsible for creating experiences through program development, and serve a spokespeople for the broader student community.
When asked what they were most looking forward to, this is what they had to say:
