Evan Farr Headshot

Evan Farr, Ph.D.

DIRECTOR OF ACADEMICS & CONNECTIONS, EUGENE

Evan Farr comes to Mansfield Hall after an eight-year career in academia. As a professor, he focused on first-year transitions to the college experience while also teaching courses in a range of subjects including political science, philosophy, and English composition.

Evan holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Government from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He has researched and published on a variety of topics including education, inclusion in communicative settings, and democratic governance. When he isn’t working with students or deep in thought, Evan enjoys getting outdoors to run, hike, and barbecue, and getting indoors to read and play the odd video game.

Last but certainly not least, Eugene students!
