Jackie Schauf

Community Engagement Coach

Jacquelynn Schauf brings a warm, creative presence to Mansfield Hall, blending her passion for social-emotional learning with years of experience working with neurodiverse individuals across a variety of educational and supportive environments. She has worked in both public and specialized education settings, serving as a Paraprofessional in high school special education programs and a Residential Instructor at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Her background also includes group facilitation, caregiving roles, and relationship-centered guidance. Jacquelynn has designed and contributed to initiatives that promote self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful growth. Her approach emphasizes curiosity, trust, and authentic engagement, creating spaces where students feel safe to explore and develop both personally and socially. She is committed to helping students feel seen, supported, and empowered to walk forward with both vulnerability and strength, developing not only the agency to create meaningful lives, but the self-belief to do so with intention and confidence.

In addition to her work in education, Jacquelynn enjoys writing poetry, making art, and pouring traditional Chinese tea (Gong Fu Cha) as a grounding, communal practice. She believes in the magic of deep conversations, slow moments, and soft lighting, and is always up for a good cup of Shu Pu’er.
