Jamielee Adams

COACH, EUGENE

After growing up in a rural town in Georgia, Jamielee enrolled at and then graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2018. With her husband and menagerie of critters, she moved to Oregon in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. As an avid biology enthusiast, she sought out ways to contribute to the science community in any way that she could, volunteering in labs and helping to write extension articles for entomology programs. After working at a local science museum, she realized that she enjoyed working as an educator and transitioned into a role as a middle school science teacher. This role completely changed her life’s trajectory, and although she still loves science, she now knows that her role in life is to be an educator. With the belief that anyone can learn, Jamielee hopes to inspire her students to rise to any challenge no matter the difficulty. In her free time, Jamielee can be found watching Japanese anime, reading fantasy novels, taking care of her animals (who she could talk about for days if you let her!), or working on her latest painting.
