Sara Adsit
A native Vermonter, mother of two and a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities, Sara has worked in a variety of settings supporting students’ personal and professional growth. She earned a degree in Psychology and Human Services and brings a wealth of skills to empower individuals to achieve their highest quality of life, promote independence, and support students in realizing their potential. Sara has been with Mansfield Hall since its doors opened in 2013.
Sara works with all students in various capacities including offering both group and individual service work opportunities, planning meaningful and engaging social opportunities and running our Summer Internship Program, to name a few. Finding meaningful experiences in all aspects of life remains a goal for Sara both personally and as a core tenet and expectation of the people she works with. Sara believes that meaningful and satisfying experiences offer an individual a chance to grow and develop in invaluable ways.
With increased chatter about Neurodivergence on the internet and in the media it`s normal to wonder if some of the parts of you are an indicator of something larger at play.
Neurodivergent, quirky, high-strung, one or none of the above- humans are unique and diverse, no two brains are alike. We recognize and celebrate that.

This week at Mansfield Hall, Madison student Cory created a hand-drawn coloring book for a fundraising initiative; each creature is based off of the delicious recipes inside, (available for adoption) Madison Cat Project cat Leila tried to find a new purr-spective on shelter life, and our Dominion League dominated in Burlington.
