Jake Weld, M. Ed
As Mansfield Hall’s long-time VP of Admissions and Outreach, now Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Jake continues to work closely with the Admissions and Outreach Team and Executive Team to support the mission and vision of Mansfield Hall, as well as Mansfield’s sister organization, Canopy College Coaching, and also works closely with the Founders on projects to reach even more students (including Tanglio, a mobile-based app which supports student success) to further the mission of helping all students pursue post-secondary education and create meaningful lives.
Jake has over twenty-five years of experience in various educational organizations, with an extensive background in supporting students and young adults with learning differences.
When not at Mansfield Hall Jake can be found thrashing about with his golf clubs or a fly rod, picking out a tune on a guitar or ukulele, enjoying friends and family, or traveling in pursuit of such opportunities.
With increased chatter about Neurodivergence on the internet and in the media it`s normal to wonder if some of the parts of you are an indicator of something larger at play.
Neurodivergent, quirky, high-strung, one or none of the above- humans are unique and diverse, no two brains are alike. We recognize and celebrate that.

This week at Mansfield Hall, Madison student Cory created a hand-drawn coloring book for a fundraising initiative; each creature is based off of the delicious recipes inside, (available for adoption) Madison Cat Project cat Leila tried to find a new purr-spective on shelter life, and our Dominion League dominated in Burlington.
